Following a postdoctoral position at the Institute of Cancer Research, Emma took an unpaid position with a small charity based in Kenya, feeding back to supporters the impact they were having. She then took up a role at Breakthrough Breast Cancer in Science Communications, and then moved to Cancer Research UK in 2012. Her current position is in the Science Communications team, providing information about their research to the general public for example media coverage and web copy.
The Café is a great opportunity to come along and find out more about working in Science Communication and ask Emma any questions you might have over tea, coffee and biscuits
