The 6th Santander International Summer School for Doctoral Students

Issue this year is: “Arising Awareness – Sustainable Development of human society within the frame of planet Earth”

Participants should have a degree in one of the following fields of study: geosciences, geography, environmental sciences, biology, agriculture, forestry, architecture, economics, law, politics or social sciences. Scholarship nominations can be sent by your doctoral supervisors.

The deadline for nominations is December 15, 2014.

The aim of the Summer School is to open the mind of the participants for the differences in sustainable development of human societies related to the cultural identities within the frame of Earth resources and processes. The focus is to understand the Earth resources and processes, the cultural identities, and the specialties in Economics, Law, Politics, and Social actions between Asia, Europe and Latin America. Therefore, the Summer School will introduce the cultural identities and views, the Earth resources and processes (Paleoclimate/Climate change, Biodiversity, Energy, Minerals, Water, Oceans) and present the sustainable development in human societies (Agriculture, Forestry, Megacities).
